By adding Nightfire to your Discord server or interacting with the bot, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server and discontinue use.
2. Description of Service
Nightfire is a Discord bot that provides moon phase information and Pokemon-themed encounter mechanics for entertainment purposes. The service is provided free of charge and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Game Freak, or Creatures Inc.
3. User Accounts and Discord Integration
Nightfire operates through the Discord platform. By using Nightfire, you also agree to Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. We do not create separate user accounts; your Discord identity is used solely to provide bot functionality within servers where Nightfire is active.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Exploit, abuse, or manipulate the bot's functionality through automated scripts or macros
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the bot's systems
- Use the bot in violation of Discord's Terms of Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the bot's source code
5. Intellectual Property
Pokemon and all related names, characters, and imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. Nightfire is a fan-made project created for entertainment and is not an official Pokemon product. All original content, code, and design of Nightfire remain the property of its creators.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Nightfire is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Features may change, be modified, or be removed without prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the creators of Nightfire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the bot, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or server disruptions.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Nightfire after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
